happy birthday adrianyanty. happy birthday adrianyanty. 20th september 1991. that's when you're borned. and since 4years ago. friendship has taken its ups and downs. and sadly i love her. haha. she's my sister too you know?
her birthday was the grandest, among all of our friends. haha, eventhough it is in Ramadhan. she received a necklace from me, a visit from friends she don't usually meet; i invited, and a shared present of UNGU concert tix. anymore ungu go-ers? $58 yea? i bought it ready, we six are going to go. join luhh, JOIN!
talking about a superb band, like ungu. yes i rate them superb! haha. i get jealous, because of my band. i mean like, i am a musician too. i find the joy in performing, and making music too. my band has only one original, wait. actually, it is two. one is din's music and my lyrics, and the other is entirely diniy. now working on our third original, almost done. i guess, can't wait to go jamming. long time since we did, miss it loads. planning to perform alot alot, gain experience. have an EP by june, 2009. if can, sign for a recording company. if they think we're good enough, haha. but i feel, music is free expression. and it differs from people to people, it really does.
there are people, who are into the construction of the music piece. some are into lyrics, like me. some are into powersolos, vocals and etc. whatever it is, it is still music. and what counts is creativity, and the effort put in. yes, i do critcise some bands for their incompetance to REAL music. but then, when i get the base of it. it really depends on the individual, how they like their music. i'm universally acknowledged by all types of music, but i myself. have my own preference, and my own preference is actually not subject to only one genre. i listen to mostly the oldies, but you gotta get along with the time right? favourites would be ELVIS PRESLEY, IRON MAIDEN, THE BEATLES, JOHN LENNON, MICHAEL JACKSON and the list gets longer. and yes, they all existed and are VERY VERY famous. famous to the fact that, people live and breathe on their existance. for example, The Beatles can't once not get mobbed by their fans if they are seen. ELVIS, well. he IS the first rockstar, THE KING. he is basically, what every musician dreams to be. except for the fact that he died, because of drugs. my review on things, i could get noticed for this right? RIGHT.
currently, i am reading a novel. titled, Dance For Your Daddy by Katherine Shellduck. its a true story of a brutal east-end (London) childhood, like seriously it is brutal. i am up to the 3rd chapter, but it is already pitiful for the children in the story. give you a snitch, imagine. your family is living the shit life, don't have money to eat and you don't go to school. and suddenly, your mum brings home everything, money, food, toys, new clothes and finally and a new house. and when you ask daddy, he says mummy nows works at night, but in reality. mummy is forced into prostitution, and when she finally can't takes it. she goes missing, sad ain't it? go read the book, i recomend it.
what else, what else do i blog about. hmm, thinking thinking. GOT IT.
the other day, i got home late. then i helped mum make her specialty. pineapple tarts, i help put the pineapple onto the base of the tart. and the radio was on, and suddenly there was an advertisement on Tabung Amal Aidilfitri (TAA). and orphans were talking, convincing people to donate. and then, the topic came up. no Fathers. then suddenly mum asks, "aren't you sad? doesn't it feel different to celebrate raya with no father?" . of course she said it in malay, i translated it for you. i defiantly said no, how can i tell her right? she's been both my father and my mother for the past 14years. but i bet she know my answer, she knows how much i miss my father. i've lived without a father figure, and imagine walking around. and see your friends, and everyone in the world. having a day with their father, support a soccer team together with their father. those kind of father-son thingy, get what i mean? and sometimes, i do get angry when my friends are not appreciating their fathers. but things do happen for a reason right? i mean, i wouldn't be who i am now if he was still present in my life. i would have taken a different course, a different adventure than now. a few months back, i wrote something. i'll just publish it i guess, and end this blog post. enjoy yea?
Daddy, the word saddens me. The word i yearn to speak, means so much to me. To know, all the great daddies in the world. I'm glad, they get that love. I know, i had a great daddy. They speak greatly, fondly of him. I want to be like him, i want to represent him. Representing someone, i know little of. I don't want a replacement, i just want him. The truth hurts, but i have to accept it. God loves him more, than anyone here. And i know, he is at a better place right now. It was 14years ago, the year was 1994. When i was still a wee boy, what was i to know. Just wish i got to know him, more than the stories i heard. My inspiration, my heart. You are, my everything. I love you, i miss you. Daddy.
